Introduction
The Internet is a powerful tool, but it can be dangerous if you don’t use it properly. As we’ve learned this week, there are many ways in which we can become exposed to such dangers. One way is through social media; another is through our own actions on the Internet.
Let’s be human and don’t just look at the screen.
Let’s be human and don’t just look at the screen.
Let’s not forget that we are all connected by our shared humanity. In order to bridge this gap, I have been reading “Theodore Bikel: A Life in Theater” by John Lahr (an excellent bio). Theodore Bikel was born in Vienna in 1922 and grew up under Nazi rule. His father was Jewish and moved to Warsaw before World War II began; his mother escaped from Poland with her son after moving back again following an escape attempt led by her husband who was killed by Nazis during WWI. After attending school for only two years because he lost both parents early on, Theodorebikel joined the French army where he served until being discharged due to illness caused by his lack of proper nutrition during wartime conditions! This boy grew up surrounded by violence yet managed not only survive but thrive despite all odds stacked against him–it shows what true strength looks like when faced with adversity.”
Let’s be human and dont just look at the screen.
It’s important to remember that you are human, not just a screen. You have a face and body, so why not take advantage of these things? Don’t get too caught up in social media or any other devices. Instead, think about how you can use them to improve your life and the lives of others around you.
Don’t get too caught up in social media
You may find yourself getting caught up in social media. Social media can be addictive and time consuming, but it also has its benefits.
Social media allows us to connect with people all around the world, stay connected with family members who live far away and share our experiences with them (like this week’s student!). Social media lets us see what’s going on in other places around the world at any given moment—and it does so without having to travel there! In fact, one study found that people spend about three hours per day on their devices!
Conclusion
Let’s be human and dont just look at the screen. In our modern society, technology is a big part of our lives, but it doesnt take away from the fact that we are still human beings with feelings and emotions. We need to remember this when using social media platforms like Instagram or Facebook!
