The course is about developing student’s analytical and practical skills by working on projects that will give them hands on experience in the application of Information Technology concepts. Students will get an opportunity to apply those concepts in developing a project under guidance from faculty and expert mentors from industry.

The course covers all aspects of IT Project Management, including:

Project initiation, planning, development and delivery;

Estimating costs;

Approving project scope;

Managing stakeholders;

Managing time constraints (timeline management);

OBJECTIVE The objective of this course is to develop student’s analytical and practical skills by working on projects that will give them hands on experience in the application of Information Technology concepts.

The student should be able to apply their knowledge and skill sets acquired from lectures, readings, discussions, and assignments in completing computer based projects that require programming skills.

The project objective is clear: it should demonstrate how one can use software applications in a business environment for specific tasks that fit within your organization’s needs.

PREREQUISITE(S) None

You do not need any prerequisites to take this course, but it is recommended that you have some basic knowledge of IT.

If you decide to take this course after taking another one, it will be easier for you because there’s no need for an introduction.

COURSE DESCRIPTION Enterprise IT is vertically divided into several domains such as cloud, databases, networks, security, and analytics.
