Setting long-term and short-term professional goals can also encourage you to perform specific career planning with a timeline to define your potential for success.
Building a professional trajectory involves three steps:
1. Self-assessment. Explore your knowledge, skills, abilities, past experiences, accomplishments, and interests. Use it to develop your big professional goal.
Describe yourself. Include your personality traits, values, and attitude toward achieving career success.

3. Individualized career map. Creating an individualized career map involves identifying other positions that interest you within or outside the organization. The position includes the educational trajectory.
