In the U.S., it is common for citizens to own cars and to use the cars to transport themselves to/from work, activities, vacations, etc. Because we depend so heavily on automobiles, as opposed to trains, buses, etc., Americans have a vested interest in buying and driving autos that are good on gas, are safe, affordable, and low on emissions (low on environmental impact). Even if someone has no concern for the environment, there are financial incentives (read: tax incentives) to owning “green” vehicles. What is the best choice?
