In the past decades, the influx of migrant workers into local job market has significantly contributed to the nation’s economic growth. In order to keep pace with the growing demand, immigrant workers are quickly employed to fill up vacant positions. Some of these workers are even willing to do the jobs that the local workers do not want to do. Despite such positive impact, this has also resulted in few negative impacts onto the society and the nation. Some believe that these migrant workers should not be allowed to work in the local industry as it decreases the opportunity for locals to fill up the vacant positions in the local job market.
