During this life changing pandemic there has been many things that have changed within these last couple of years. From the way we learned, to our work cycles. They have come up with vaccines for adults first, then children between the ages of 5+ following shortly after. Some parents are still not sure bout vaccinating their children because of a small risk. According to studies, almost 700 children have died from COVID-19, placing SARS-CoV-2 infection among the top 10 causes of death in US children. No children have died from vaccination (Gerber and Offit, 2021). This article explains that although there are minor risk with this vaccine the benefits outweigh them.
The next article explains how there are surveys around the world being done to determine what percentage of the population would need to be vaccinated in order to control Covid-19.
