RE: Policy Changes

Vacation
Due to our restricted development and sales timeframe, effective immediately no
vacation is to be taken until one month after SoftwarePackage 2.0 ships. This is to ensure
that SoftwarePackage is completed in a timely fashion
, as well as any problems that arise
30 days after the ship date. Sick days are still available during this time. If you use your
sick days and continue to miss work, you will be docked pay for those days that you
miss.

Snow Policy
Unless the Albany area is in a state of emergency, all employees are expected to be here
on days that it snows OR if management decides to close the office. If for any reason you
cannot come to work, you will be docked for the days that you miss, unless you work
from home. If you work from home you must be connected to the office via VPN during
your work hours. A status report must be sent to your manager including what you did
while you were home. If you are a developer, you must send a copy of your CVS logs to
your manager. Finally, if you are working from home you must notify your manager, and
have a phone accessible to you during your working hours. This will allow co-workers to
keep in touch if any problems arise. Failure to follow these rules will result in docked pay
for that day.

Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
