While some clients may adhere to specific practices and traditions, such as Catholicism or Judaism, some may seek a looser interpretation of religion and strive to live a good life on their terms. For instance, I could have a Roman Catholic client who could see the legalization of marijuana and other schedule 1 drugs as a terrible thing for society. On the opposite end, there could be clients who view themselves as an agnostic who believes that the legalization of these drugs could lead to more spiritual awakenings or possible medical treatments using these substances.
