Perhaps you realize you have made this error recently, or maybe you were in a situation where someone might have made a dispositional attribution about you when it was unwarranted. If you can’t recall a situation in which you have been personally involved, you should certainly be able to identify an instance in social or popular media. Describe the story and then explain how it demonstrates the fundamental attribution error. If it is a personal account, be sure to include any feelings or thoughts you have or had at the time.
