Case Study: Susan is a 28 year old female with concerns regarding a cough. Symptoms initially began two months ago, intermittent. Last week, her symptoms increased and she now coughs every night. Cough is described as dry. She has had no recent illnesses. Denies fevers, SOB, chest pain. Unable to identify any aggravating or alleviating symptoms but also admits she has not paid attention to this. Has tried otc cough suppressants without much relief. No fevers. Requesting “prescription cough syrup”. PMH: none PSH: none Medications: none NKDA Immunizations up to date except COVID and flu which she has declined in the past. VS: BP 114/67, P 68, SpO2 99%, Wt 124 lbs, Ht 66 inches
