Presentations should be 8-10 minutes in length and should include biographical information, interesting aspects and important notes in the composer's life story, audio examples of the composer's work, and visual aids (power point). Presentation should have an introduction, body and conclusion, should be well-organized, and interesting. Some questions to answer within the body of the presentation:
When and where were this composer born? What was their social, economic and family life like? What was their occupation(s)? What was the role of music in their childhood and family life?
Tell an interesting story about the composer.
Share a musical work by the composer through an audio or video sample. Be sure to share some information about this piece, and what makes it interesting and unique to this composer.
Include a visual aid within the presentation.
Show effort, organization and make the presentation interesting, engaging and easy to understand.
Bibliography:
Use at least three sources not including Wikipedia. Websites, books, magazines and academic journals are all good sources. List the sources in a document. One source may be an audio/video source.
