I enlisted in the United States Army in June 2011. She completed Basic Combat Training in August 2011 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

My assignments include: Paralegal Specialist, 18th Fires Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, Paralegal NCO, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, and Administrative Law NCOIC, 82nd Airborne Division, Paralegal NCO, Group Support Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Fort Carson, Colorado, and Senior Drill Sergeant at Echo Battery, 1st Battalion, 40th Field Artillery Regiment, 434th Field Artillery Brigade, Paralegal NCOIC for 75th Field Artillery Brigade, Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

My deployments include: Forward Operating Base Shank, Afghanistan for 3 months with the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division and Bagram, Afghanistan for 5 months with 2nd Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne).

My military and civilian education include: Combat Advisor Training Course, Master Resilience Training, Senior Leader Course, SHARP Foundation Course, Unit Armorer Course, Unit Prevention Leader Course, Combatives Level I, Drill Sergeant School, Law for Paralegal Course, Battle Staff NCO Course, Advanced Leader Course, Airborne School, Basic Leader Course, Field Sanitation Team- Individual Course, and Combat Lifesaver Course. SSG Green has an associate degree in criminal justice from Spartanburg Methodist College and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from the University of Louisville.

My awards and decorations include: Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (5 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (5OLC), Presidential Unit Citation, Army Good Conduct Medal (3rd Award), National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with two Campaign Stars, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 3), Army Service Ribbon, and the NATO Medal with two Bronze Service Stars. She is also authorized to wear the Drill Sergeant Badge, Combat Action Badge, Parachutist Badge, and the German and Dutch Parachutist Badges.

SFC Green is single and has two dogs, Nala and Egypt. She enjoys fishing and golf.
