Consider the following scenario.

Students often complain about the lack of parking on campus. CSU Parking states, “Peak Demand is Monday – Thursday between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m”. However, I know, from personal experience, that finding a spot on Tuesdays and Thursdays is very difficult. CSU parking has attempted to address the issue by providing an online app for parking updates. While this is helpful, there is much more this app could do. CSU Parking has decided to create, CSUPARKNOW, a revamped version of the existing app. At this point, the specifications are very vague. Creating an interactive app is the most important function. Other ideas include the ability to purchase parking passes or pay for tickets, see where the available spots are in each garage and offer the option of holding that spot if you are on route. 1. (5 pts) Imagine you are the End-User. Identify 3 additional functional requirements you would like to see

in the parking app. Do not use any of the suggestions I provided. 2. (5 pts) Identify and describe two (2) non-functional requirements in this scenario.

3. (40 pts) Use your knowledge and creativity to embellish the scenario to include the following

A transition from low-cost housing to public parkland is looming closer for the badly aging Euclid Beach Mobile Home Community located between Lake Shore Boulevard and Lake Erie in the city’s North Collinwood neighborhood. The nonprofit Western Reserve Land Conservancy, which bought the 28.5-acre property in late 2021 from a Texas developer for $5.8 million, on Thursday announced what it called a recommendation that the property should be added to adjacent disjointed sections of the Cleveland Metroparks Euclid Creek Reservation. “We have an opportunity based on this initiative to create a high-quality regional park to benefit not only residents of North Collinwood but the entire region for generations,’’ Matt Zone, senior vice president and director of Thriving Communities at the conservancy, said in an interview with cleveland.com and The Plain Dealer.
