Life Plan Worksheet 2: Step 3 Priorities and Step 4 Values.
You will probably want to work on this assignment in a fresh document. It has two exercises. Please complete both of them.
Step 3. Prioritize your life
Your priorities change over time and as you build new relationships, careers, etc. But it is important to recognize that your resources are limited. Prioritizing means consciously spending time, money, attention, and emotional energy on the people, activities, and tasks that will maximize your happiness and help you reach your goals, and eliminating things that no longer matter to you.
Once you become good at setting priorities, you will manage your time better. Use the following list to begin. First, start by thinking what each of the items means to you, then make a new list placing items in the order that you value them. (Choose number one, number two, etc.) Add anything you think is missing. Cut out anything that doesn’t make your list. Then try to keep these priorities in mind as you plan your day and make decisions about your life:

Step 4. Identify your core values
It’s important to identify what you value in life, so you don’t become conflicted in setting your priorities and life goals. For example, if one value such as inner peace matters to you a lot, then you need to recognize that is one of your core values, and therefore you should find ways to achieve it by pursuing education, careers, relationships, and activities which enhance it.
