You are working an undercover vice assignment and conducting “Outcall” prostitution operations. You respond to an ad in on online forum known for advertising prostitution under their “Adult Escort” section. The ad promises GFE and you and your partners arrange for a “Date” with Bella Angel.
About an hour later, a girl claiming to be Bella Angel arrives at your rented hotel room. The picture in the ad does not match the picture of the girl who arrived.
After a brief conversation, you again establish that she will provide “Everything” (street vernacular for oral sex and sexual intercourse) for $300. You give her $300 in cash and go to the bathroom. While in the bathroom, you call your back up team. Your partner officers enter into the room and effect an arrest.
What can you arrest Bella Angel for and WHY?
During the arrest, Bella Angel agrees to make statements but they are more like pleas for help. She tells you that her pimp has her 3 year old son and is holding him until she makes $5,000. She provides you the pimps name and phone number.
