You are to write a Summative Assessment of this infant from 6 weeks to 12 months old.
Watch the video carefully and take jottings of each age and what the infant is developing
along the way. These jottings will form the basis of your Summative Assessment of this
infant.
Prepare a summary of all the evidence. This is usually recorded in a narrative format and
should be linked to developmental theories and characteristics and Framework Outcomes.
Then prepare a summative report based on the evidence gathered. This summative report
will be used to share information about the infant’s development with families, children,
experts and specialists.
