2. What is one point T.H. Leahey makes in in the excerpt from his History of Psychology (pp. 2-5 of the PDF file) that you think can be related in some way to Descartes’ view as expressed in your answer to question 1? Briefly explain.

Leahey, History of Modern Psychology, Chapter 2, pp. 2-5, up to but not including the section on “Philosophical Psychology in the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries,” and the excerpt from Descartes’ Principles of Philosophy, pp. 1-2 (pp. 2-3 of the PDF file).
