Case scenario – Sasha Congratulations, it looks like you’ve been promoted! Late Friday afternoon, Carol (Little Catalysts ELC Director) called to say that she had to go on urgent leave to attend to family matters and would not be back at the service for at least 4 – 6 weeks. She nominates and trusts you to step into the role of Acting Director for Little Catalysts Early Learning Centre while she’s away. At the start of your first week as Acting Director you receive a call from a hopeful parent about enrolling their child into the service next term. Cassie (mum) was very frank with you about Sasha (4 year-old daughter) as she has a rare and severe form of Muscular Dystrophy.
