Your professional growth plan should contain:
● two goals (learning objectives) linked to the objectives of the course and to the professional competences of the CSJ;
● four strategies per goal: explain your strategies. Be as specific as possible ;
● two indicators (proof, evidence) of measurable success per strategy.
Main goals of this course:
1. Introduce the student to the professional life of a teacher
2. Expose the student to the Alberta context of French immersion or French as a first language in a minority context
3. Learn to plan a lesson plan
4. Discover and experiment with different teaching practices in various contexts
5. Learn about pedagogical differentiation through concrete activities
6. Develop an understanding of the various Alberta programs of study
7. Identify the elements of the 12 professional skills to be emphasized in preparation for the EDU S 201 internship

S — specific, meaning
M — explicitly measurable
A — achievable with available resources
R — realistic
T— time (target in time)
