For kindergarten children plan a creative experience inspired by the “Spring Dance” artwork by: Napatchie Pootoogook (1979)
You must plan experiences that are in other art mediums (e.g., music, movement, drama, storytelling, etc.) and NOT visual arts
For planned experience, choose a different play centre (e.g., dramatic play centre, arts centre, block centre, outdoor area, sensory centre)
In each of the activities, explain how children would playfully explore elements of art color (4% per experience)
Describe the materials, arrangement, educator’s verbal, and behavioural strategies, and how you would incorporate the visual art you critiqued. (7% per experience)
