Take for example you are setting up a Reggio Emilia’s inspired COZY CORNER area on your daycare center.
1. Explain the importance of using authentic resources in the cozy corner your setting up.
2. List at least 15 authentic materials you would choose for this learning area. Consider authentic materials that include natural and recycled materials and loose parts.
3. Reflect on how and why you would place each of the materials in the learning area. Address some of the five ideas of the curiosity approach for each material in your answer.
4. How does Reggio Emilia curriculum reflects your choices of materials above. Justify.
