A “Good-bye Letter” – write a good-bye letter TO the substance/behavior from which you are abstaining. The letter will be due Friday January 27th, 10:00 pm (CST) You will have only a week or so (from start of class) to think about that substance/behavior, that is part of your life and you will give up. Giving up something often happens this quick for your clients. Suggested questions to address in the letter:
How is your substance/behavior is going to missed?
How has your substance/behavior comforted you?
What will you miss about your substance/behavior?
How you are emotional connected to your substance/behavior?
How has your substance/behavior interfered or impacted your life negatively?
