The study stated, “Lack of awareness was cited as the most common reason a person did not have an advance directive. Researchers were interested in what factors may be barriers to completing an advance directive”. Hence, organizations must develop systematic processes to ensure that each patient is encouraged to complete an advanced directive before admission or discharge. Do you agree?
