So let me give you some information for you to work with. In this scenario, I only have access to current g..y@Pepperdine MFT program. I can’t research potential students because I don’t know who they are yet. So really, the only people I can access are current students.
The variables I’m interested in looking at include GPA; test scores, both while in graduate school and before graduate school; study habits, and motivation; and you might be able to think of some other relevant variables that I’m not considering. Now, when I think about what succeeding in graduate school means, the things that come to mind are grades, the information learned, skills as a therapist in training, and critical thinking abilities. And again, there may be some more that you think of.
So in this exercise, I’m asking you to help me think through how I might study this topic using non-experimental and experimental methods.
