SNMP

SNMP is a protocol used to monitor and manage network devices. It can be used for health monitoring, performance monitoring, and configuration management.

SNMP allows an administrator to collect information about the status of their network’s devices by using various community strings (strings) on each device in order to retrieve this data from the monitored system. The snmpd daemon listens on a TCP port for any packets with these strings containing data or commands sent from client applications like Netscaler Manager or SNMP Service Control Point (SCM).

QoS

QoS is a networking method that allows you to prioritize traffic based on the priority level of each packet. The higher the priority, the faster it will be delivered through your network.

QoS can be used in many ways including:

Use QoS as an alternative to bandwidth caps or usage-based billing (UBB) schemes where you want certain types of information to get preferential treatment over other types of information. For example, if you are using FTP and using multiple servers at different times of day but have limited bandwidth available then you may want certain files/content such as video streams or audio files which require more bandwidth than others (such as emails) but no one should have access until they’re finished downloading from their end point – this would be ideal since there would never be any waiting time for anyone else trying watch live sports matches!

ftp/tftp

FTP (file transfer protocol) is a client/server protocol that uses ports 20 and 21 to transfer files between hosts. Tftp (tape file transfer protocol) is an alternative method of transferring files over the network using IP addresses rather than port numbers. TftP uses routers, switches and firewalls to connect remote sites with each other as well as with their local host computer systems. It works by listening for incoming packets on designated UDP ports; once one arrives it waits until it receives an acknowledgment from the destination before continuing its handshaking process with subsequent packets.

As a business continuity consultant, you are tasked with writing reports for your clients. You have been asked to write a paper on how best to use ftp/tftp, SNMP and QoS in order to improve business continuity and disaster recovery.

This paper should contain information about tools needed for each function, personnel that would be involved in each function and any other relevant information necessary for the completion of this task

Conclusion
